Service cancellation

Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel a visit, as a courtesy. If less than 48 hours notice is given, you may still be charged.

If you wish to terminate our services, please give 28 days notice.

We will give you 28 days written notice if we wish to terminate your contract. This may occur if:

Where we withdraw the service, we will usually give you 28 days notice. However, if your behaviour (or that of others in your home) is so extreme that immediate action is required to safeguard our staff we will consult with the local authority safeguarding team and may end the service immediately.

In the unlikely event that the service has to be closed in an emergency, we will cancel the service immediately.

Services

Whether you just want to see a friendly face and have a cup of tea and a chat, play a game of chess or scrabble, be supported to go for a walk or a drive, or even out for lunch, we can help with this.

Perhaps you need help with activities at home, such as gardening, meal preparation or other activities you enjoy. You may like to go to bingo, to social groups, or to the theatre or cinema. We can support with such activities.

If you are struggling to remember to take medication or to organise prescriptions or need someone to escort you for appointments, we can help.

You may need help with some light housework & shopping, changing your bed, laundry, or to going to the supermarket. We can help with this.

Perhaps you are the carer and need a break or to go out but cannot leave your loved one alone. We can provide a ‘sitter’ to remain with your loved one whilst you go out.

We will support in Bedford and surrounding areas
